words kill, words give life

the dark altar of Charles Addams

Charles Addams is freaking awesome. He created the Addams family and drew over a 1000 cartoons for The New Yorker. Unfortunately he died in 1988.

I just bought a collection of his cartoons – “Happily Ever After: A Collection of Cartoons to Chill the Heart of Your Loved One.” It’s a must buy if you have a macabre sense of humor.

Ran across your blog while looking for inspiration for my new blog. I really like it! You’re so quirky. Also, I love the Addams family. I dressed up like Wednesday when I was 12. Big hit. Your Arthur & friends costume is awesome. I’ve been trying to convince people to go as the Peanut gang for years. Oh well!
